A Clinical Primer on the 2022 Monkeypox Outbreak in the United States

As of November 2022, more than 77,000 cases of monkeypox have been reported worldwide, with 13 at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. The authors review the history of monkeypox, the epidemiology of the current outbreak, and recommendations from the CDC in the prevention and management of the disease.
