LG Health’s chief of vascular surgery shares new research on the safety and effectiveness of transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR) in standard-risk patients. Though final data from trials aren’t expected until later this year, early results support TCAR as an appropriate option for both high-risk and standard-risk patients in Lancaster.

Traumatic hay-hole fall injuries are a unique problem among rural Anabaptist communities, particularly for the pediatric population. The authors report results of two studies conducted to determine if farmers and barn owners would adopt a new hay-hole cover designed to be safe, yet allow for ventilation.
